Solar Community Organizers are the folks who are out and about educating and assisting Vermonters go solar, one town at a time.
 

William Northrop is a born and raised Vermonter. He grew up in Vergennes, the smallest city in the United States. He received his bachelors degree in political science from the University of Vermont where he graduated in the winter of 2012. William is currently pursuing his masters degree in political science from Southern New Hampshire University. With a passion for community organizing, William has been active in both candidate and issue based campaigns since 2012. He got his start with Presidents Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012 and most recently acted as a Campaign Manager for a City Council Candidate during the 2015 Burlington Municipal elections. In his spare time, William acts as the sitting President of the Vermont Young Democrats and is working on a state-wide initiative to re-engage young people in the political process. Other than that, William lives a very active life style and enjoys hiking, golfing and snowboarding.
