Spend our Money on Art!

We’re wrapping up our month-long occupancy of 152 Cherry St. in downtown Burlington where we’ve had a blast meeting Burlingtonians and helping them learn about how they can save money and go solar. We’ve also relished spending time in the gorgeous gallery that we curated from many talented Vermont artists. Although our office in the Energy Mill is a piece of art unto itself, we have been so busy crafting this fledgling company that we haven’t done much decorating. With a limited budget, we can’t go crazy; however, we’d love to purchase a few souvenirs to take back to our office once we close up the Pop-Up Gallery and Store. We love all the pieces and are having a hard time deciding what to buy so we thought we’d ask for help from you, SunCommon friends. We know you have impeccable taste and trust you to help guide us towards the best decision!

Here’s how it works:

Select the piece/s of art you recommend that we buy. We have a $500-$750 budget so you can spread it out over several pieces, or spend it all on one! Only one round of voting per person allowed! Voting ends Thursday August 30th at midnight. The more the merrier so please help spread the word!
We like you lots – so we hope that you’ll like us back on Facebook!

Terry’s “sunset” is an amazing piece of work! She gets my vote.

It is difficult to chose art without knowing where it will be placed. However I can see that Terry’s piece will brighten up any place it lands.

I picked the three pieces I think will look great in your office (and only one, is one of mine:). Sorry, I did go slightly over budget…..

Thanks Amy! Which ones did you pick? (if you don’t mind sharing) As our logo designer – I think you deserve extra voting cred!

Hi Hilary. I picked Sun Fun. I can see it near the front of the office where it might be seen with the cool corrugated metal knee wall. The rays are made with old rakes…so Vermont. All reclaimed materials, too. – Amey
