SunCommon launches the “Drive Electric Pledge” which states: “We pledge not to purchase or lease any fossil fuel burning vehicles as long as there are viable electric alternatives. We make this commitment, for our business and/or personal use, for now and in the future.” In addition to urging others to take the pledge, SunCommon commits to transition its vehicle fleet to all electric cars over the next few years. Green Mountain Power and Burlington Electric Department also signed the Drive Electric Pledge. As of summer 2020, SunCommon’s vehicle fleet is already 16% electric with 13 EVs.
