The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Center and SunCommon are teaming up to bring a fun, whole-family queer event to Kingston! The HOMOsteading Expo will bring together local LGBTQ practitioners of all manner of sustainability and homesteading crafts and trades, including renewable energy, forestry and agriculture, textile arts, food preservation, climate and environmental justice, and traditional medicine. Whether you’re dreaming about collective craft nights or you’re ready to realize your wildest doomsday-prepper dreams, these are the people and skills you want on your team.

There is no cost for a table: we prefer that presenters be LGBTQ-identified, with priority given to transgender/gender-nonconforming folks and people of color, but community allies are also welcome and encouraged to inquire.
