A Sustainable Future Art Show in Burlington

SunCommon is opening a solar-inspired pop-up art gallery and store in Burlington!

To spread the good news that solar finally costs less than utility power, SunCommon is opening a pop-up store and solar-inspired art gallery in downtown Burlington for the month of August.  All of the pieces we’re displaying will help inspire Vermonters to be a part of building a sustainable, locally-powered Vermont for the 21st Century.

The pop-up store and gallery is at 152 Cherry Street, in the old Outdoor Gear Exchange, and just 3 doors down from Ben & Jerry’s.

Over the course of the month we’ll be having a whole series of events that we hope you’ll make it to! These include:

August 3rd, 5-8 PM – Gallery grand opening, featuring live music from Winooski’s Waves of Adrenaline

August 10th and 24th, 8-10 AM –  Coffee, Donuts, and Solar — stop by to learn more in a casual, tasty atmosphere

August 14th, 12 PM – Repowering Burlington with Solar — a lunchtime community Q&A on how solar is finally affordable and available

August 22nd, 6 PM   – Repowering Burlington with Solar — an evening presentation for those that can’t make it on the 15th.

Finally, if you’re an artist and would like to be a part of the show, we are accepting submissions until July 25th.  Just contact Dan at dan@suncommon.com or 802-595-0338.
