SunCommon is your homegrown solar installer, located in nearby Rhinebeck. We’ve been helping Hudson Valley residents go solar since 2002, and our thousands of happy customers there can attest to our high quality products and the integrity we bring to our work. When you go solar, you’ll be helping to generate clean power for yourself, your neighbors, and for the town itself. The Red Hook CSA has offset the electricity usage of approximately 250 homes and 27 municipal electric bills in the Town and Village (Red Hook and Tivoli), including the town halls and libraries. The array will save the town thousands of dollars every year and will produce an amount of clean energy equal to taking 450 passenger cars off the road!

Here’s How Community Solar Works
Members of a CSA use solar credits produced by that array to reduce or eliminate their utility bill. The only requirement to become a member of a Community Solar Array is that you live within the same utility load zone as the array. Since most utility load zones span counties, towns, and zip codes, our Solar Advisors will help determine which array you would belong to.
