Joe grew up in the small town of Oneonta in Upstate NY, playing many sports but spent most of his time on the basketball court. While attending San Jose State University in California he learned the ins and outs of working in a solar installation team while employed at Akeena Solar. Upon graduating with a degree in business marketing, Joe tried out many different jobs in administration, non-profit, and sales; many of which took him from Charleston to Martha’s Vineyard. After some time Joe realized he wanted to get back into the solar field where spending time in the outdoors, working with the community and green energy come together. Soon to be moving to the Hudson Valley area to join the SunCommon team in Rhinebeck, Joe is excited to work for a company whose ethos he admires while surrounded by the beauty of the Catskills. Joe is an avid reader, loves playing basketball and keeps live music a constant in his life. He enjoys spending time with his black lab Mannie and planning a future flower farm with his partner Elizabeth.
