Going Solar in the Capital Region
Map generated January 2018
Now solar can save money for both Washington Electric Coop and Green Mountain Power customers, bringing savings to more Vermonters.
More residents than ever central Vermont are saving money with SunCommon solar. With new net metering rules, households served by GMP and WEC are bringing solar to the grid through both roof and ground mounted systems.
Our spring challenge has ended, but you can still get in on the action.
In the spring of 2017, we went door-to-door and held a series of fun Q-and-A events in Middlesex, East Montpelier, Calais, and Worcester to help folks learn more about how solar saves money and does good for the world. This campaign resulted in 27 more households in Central Vermont getting hooked up with solar, increasing SunCommon’s customer base in the area by more than 50%.
But just because the campaign is over doesn’t mean you can’t get in on the money-saving action! Plus, as more people in your area go solar with SunCommon, your installation gets more efficient. And that means we can pass even more savings back to you.
