SunCommon Solar Milestones!

We’ve been on a wonderful journey at SunCommon since we launched our innovative business in March.  And now, just seven months in, we have an exciting announcement to make.

Our employees came together last Spring to launch SunCommon with the mission of dramatically increasing solar energy production in our beloved Vermont.  We’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve already hit a major benchmark toward that goal.
As of this week – we’ve arranged to install 1 megaWatt of solar power.  That’s 180 households worth of electricity to be made locally, cleanly, and sustainably.  We’re thrilled!

Our work over these few months makes us responsible for 10% of all the solar homes in Vermont!  Through us, some towns have erected their first solar arrays (Winooski and Bolton) and others have already tripled their solar homes (Milton).  That’s some start, and we’re growing by the day.

To celebrate, we’ve put together an online photo gallery for each of our current solar towns. We are so proud of our new solar family and can’t wait to help hundreds more Vermonters go solar and save money doing so.
