MAGGIE TWITCHELL-WOOD

Solar Goddess

These folks make the SunCommon trains run, mastering all of the back office functions that allow the solar professionals to do their jobs so Vermonters can go solar.

Raised in Waterbury Center and inspired to seek further adventure by her globe trotting mother, Maggie left to explore Europe at the age of 20. Maggie was lucky enough to spend time in Italy and Sardinia before Inter-Railing her way across Europe and landing in Cambridge, England. In that time, Maggie opened and managed the Cambridge branch of Kelly Services and after 10 successful years, dropped out of the race to spend time with her growing family and learn culinary tricks from England’s finest Delicatessen.
After many long road trips to the wilds of Scotland to find the serenity and remoteness that would remind her of home, she and her family decided to move to Vermont.

Maggie enjoys farmhouse cooking with local foods, the fine craft beer and hard cider that VT produces and acknowledges that a perfect day is bound to include olive oil and some fresh goat cheese.
