Today is a Happy Day!
SunCommon is a joyful place to work. We think that there are reasons to celebrate every day. Making joy and happiness a central part of our business is important to us. Heck, we’ve got a Happiness Resources Director! Research shows that happy employees are more creative, optimistic and motivated, which translates to a more productive team. Our customers reap the benefits of all this happiness, getting top-notch customer service as they take their solar journeys. And it’s just a lot more fun to work with people who are happy and want to be doing this work!
This is why we join others around the world in recognizing today as the International Day of Happiness. The United Nations declared this day in 2012, stating that ” happiness is a fundamental human goal,” and recognizing “the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well being of all people.”
We challenge you to make a commitment to make someone else happy today. Send a handwritten card for no reason. Give an overdue compliment. Offer to help a neighbor. The light of a candle is never diminished by lighting another candle.
