Join Us: People’s Climate March

“This isn’t a green issue. This is an ALL of us issue”

We will be there to speak up and speak out about our global health. Our country’s history has shifted through strong, united voices and the goal of the People’s Climate March in NYC is to further that history. Groups representing the environment, business, government and human rights are working and walking together on Sunday to protest the lack of policy and progress in the fight against climate change.

We are proud to be a Vermont company surrounded by passionate people focused on our future. A recent Burlington Free Press article highlighted some of the local efforts. If you’re unable to attend the NYC event on Sunday, we urge you to join the Burlington People’s Climate Rally.

Will you join us? The People’s Climate March will be the largest climate action in US history – be a part of it.

“As environmental science has advanced, it has become apparent that the human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future: deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities, and the spread of disease.” Worldwatch Institute, “Is Meat Sustainable?”

“If every American skipped one meal of chicken per week and substituted vegetables and grains… the carbon dioxide savings would be the same as taking more than half a million cars off of U.S. roads.” Environmental Defense Fund

“A 1% reduction in world-wide meat intake has the same benefit as a three trillion-dollar investment in solar energy.” ~ Chris Mentzel, CEO of Clean Energy
